Me and my branded world
so… this is how it goes, its very simple! having been allowed to FINALLY study what i wanted to do after finishing my dead boring undergrad at UCT, i started studying brand management at VEGA… and i have fallen head over heels in love with the brand world. i’m fascinated by the fact that brands can be build over decades and decades of strategic planning and can be destroyed by one person’s personal experience! this is my blog that allows me to share my experiences with the brands that i love and hate, the ones that stand out to me once a life time and the ones that make me smile every second hour. i love brands, from clothing to toothpaste that tastes really funny, mine is a branded world indeed… for instance, if my dad was a car, he’s have to be a volvo: mature, safe and lets not deny it… rich. my mom would be a station wagon: full of room, family orientated with alot of cool little spaces to dump problems on… yet tight on security
at the moment i HATE golf 5s for the soul reason that my ex drives one, but at the end of the day this is what i’m about, seeing if a brand lives up to the promises it makes, and trying to see if there’s anyway i can improve that image… i guess one would call me an image consultant for brands, local and international. and ofcourse personal brands such as Jacob Zuma… but we won’t get into that one today!
